Pilates mat class uses only the students body weight to help create long and lean muscle and tighten and tone the entire body. Pilates helps to strengthen the powerhouse of the body- core, back, glutes and thighs and teaches students proper breath control and graceful movement. The practice has influences from yoga, ballet, and weight lifting and teaches coordination, improves posture, balance, and ease of movement.
Students will leave their practice feeling accomplished, proud, & instantly leaner from all the core work. This practice is accessible for all fitness levels and can be scaled according to the students needs, injuries, and fitness experience.
